The i5+ is equipped with dual multi-surface rubber brushes as well as Power-Lifting suction to take care of dust and dirt hair, pet hair, and stains. Simply swap the Mopping Bin with a compatible cleaning product and you're ready to mop.

The i5+ runs iRobot OS and becomes smarter the more you use it. It creates a Smart Map, which remembers the names of rooms and your cleaning preferences. The iRobot App allows you to create a schedule, or tell the robot to clean a particular room.

iRobot is equipped with the ability to recognize household clutter, including cords, shoes, toys and bags. It also supports voice commands with Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri and Google Assistant, understanding around 600 voice commands - far more than any other 2-in-1 robot.

iRobot Combo j5

This robotic mop and vacuum from iRobot will work well in homes with carpets or hard floors. It uses intelligent mapping to remove obstacles and efficiently clean. It also comes with various mopping options that include a powerful SmartScrub system that helps clean tough stains. In addition, it can create No Mop Zones to ensure that carpets aren't sucked up, and its dock automatically refills the mopping solution. The price is higher than the previous Roomba Combo j7+, but it offers more features.

Its patented Mopping Drive System applies pressure to the floor to give it more thorough cleaning and eliminates tough stains. It also can reach under furniture and into tight spaces to give an efficient clean. The Combo j5+ can also be used in conjunction with the iRobot Clean Base to automatically eliminate dirt.

Smart Mapping allows it to navigate your home seven times faster than before5, while identifying rooms with 90 percent accuracy6. It can create a map for your entire house, so it can clean any place you'd like in just one run. It also can avoid objects like backpacks, cords and toys. It will also stay clear of shoes, socks and litter boxes. You can schedule cleanings in your home and remotely control your robot with the iRobot App.

iRobot Combo i3

The iRobot Combo i3 is an updated version of the original Roomba i3. It comes with the same external dirt compartment and it also has a HEPA filter to trap allergens however, it now supports smart mapping. You can now designate zones that are not accessible to prevent the vacuum from vacuuming these areas repeatedly. The i3 Plus has a lot of other fantastic features, such as its advanced cleaning system and 10x power-lifting vacuum. It also has the ability to clean in three stages. It comes with a textured finish to keep dust, pet hair and fingerprints away.

However, you won't be able to view the inside of the compartment since it's made of transparent plastic. The i4 is also missing some features, like the AI-powered obstacle-avoidance and keep-out zones that are found on the j7 and the j7+.

It does, iRobot robot vacuum however, come with a strong vacuum system and brushes made of rubber that don't get tangled with pet hair. It's also a good option for carpets with a high pile because it can handle the extra dirt and debris better than other vacuums. The I4 is also less demanding in terms of maintenance requirements, has lower cost of maintenance and has a longer runtime in its least powerful suction mode than the i7.
