After a string of social media posts hinting at it, Italian supercar-maker Lamborghini has finally announced its first NFT (non-fungible token) project. Space Key is being developed in collaboration with a non-disclosed artist and based on advanced carbon fiber composite materials, which were sent to the International Space Station as research material, is a project which was announced by Lamborghini.

The Space Key is made from carbon fiber composite materials which Lamborghini shipped to the International Space Station in 2019 as part of research project. Once it returned to earth, the carbon fiber was crafted into this unique artwork. The physical element is equipped with an NFT serial code that connects to the digital art work via a QR code printed on the back.
