Its battery performance is excellent and eufy robot vacuum allows the vacuum to run for up to 100 minutes in its default 'Standard' mode. The vacuum is equipped with a built in battery indicator which flashes blue while it is charging, and then turns orange when the power is low, and then is fully charged and solid blue.

Another cool feature is the 'Spot Cleaning mode that allows you to make the vacuum concentrate on a narrow localized area by pressing a button on its base. This is ideal for getting crumbs or pet hair out of corners or from under furniture, where a traditional vacuum would struggle to reach.

The soft RoboVac also does an admirable job at removing pet hair on different types of floors, although it might need some additional passes to remove hairy areas that are stubborn in carpets with high and low pile. Like many robotic cleaners, it's not as adept at getting hair out of cracks and crevices as it is on bare floors but it does a fantastic job of picking up pet hair from bare and carpeted surfaces.

100 Minutes of Cleaning

The eufy robot vacuum can clean for a staggering 100 minutes, then automatically return to its charging base. It is able to work on multiple floors, and comes with an efficient vacuum that can pick up anything from cereal chunks to glitter specks. A durable brush roll and an additional side brush allow it to reach crevices and corners that aren't within reach for other robots.

The battery-powered robo-vacuum can be operated via the remote control included or by sending commands over Wi-Fi using your smartphone or smart-home assistant. You can also adjust Boost IQ, which optimizes the suction power based on the kind of floor on which the vac is working.

Like other eufy robots the G30 Edge is designed to operate around your home and requires only minimal setup. It takes only a few minutes to connect the rotating edge brushes and connect to your home Wi-Fi. Once it's connected and you're able to use the app to create cleaning schedules and voice commands through the compatible smart speaker.

This level of personalization is available on many eufy robotic vacuum cleaners. You can select which areas you'd like it clean and when. The app allows you to create virtual boundaries that block the robot from getting into areas where there might be electrical wires, or other obstacles.
