The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that is priced in the middle. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to map out your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is integrated into the base of charging. It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the touch of one button. You can choose the general clean option, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. You can also choose two mappings to ensure that your home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vac performs well on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It can remove pet hair and also suck large items up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, robot vacuum with self empty which it hopes will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard, but we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. But that's not a big deal if you want to own one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors, and filling it takes just two or three cycles even when you have maximum dirt.

As for the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, generate little noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without interruption. If it comes across an object, such as a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it before moving forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden in the background, as well as washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong, such as low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home or in the event that you have to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, and an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and empties the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor system that detects obstacles more accurately and prevents it from falling on furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the modern, sleeker design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet in height and depth and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it charges faster and can handle a complete cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Lastly lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, allowing you to use it even if you're not at home. It also comes with a smart routing function that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a set path.

The Omni Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is top-notch, and it boosts suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to a week. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra shark ion robot vacuum mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that comes with a variety of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It can build detailed floor maps, detect different flooring types and is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. But while these functions are great but they also put the L10s Ultra in the luxury category and could mean it's a little more expensive than the average homeowner require.

Created to look like a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving through the house. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which acts as an on/off switch. This helps the robot mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well, removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It was not as efficient at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
