The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to remove pet hair and Irobot Mopping And Vacuum dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do to identify your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The irobot Mopping and vacuum Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment integrated into the base of charging. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules that will give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is setup, you can start automatic cleaning with a single button. You can select a general clean that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. Or you can select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It can remove pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's not the best time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot says it will improve in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving the edge and irobot mopping and Vacuum corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that uses a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug the furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common however we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with a superior filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. We like the statement however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to store the structure of your home, and vSLAM for mapping the interior. It can then clean your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on higher-end models. And its mopping system is better as its spinning pads scrub floors better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only issue is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to allow to provide more thorough cleaning, but it's an affordable cost to pay if want to get one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than its competitors. Filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub off hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two mopping modes that it has, which are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones generate little noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without interruption. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and move on whenever it comes across one.

What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the bin hidden from view and washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong, such as a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This is a great feature to have if you have several rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or if there's some items that need to be cleared out frequently, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even clean up spills that are wet however I would recommend drying them with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you could wish for. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, plus a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet high and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can complete a cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're not at home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature that allows you to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a set route.

The Omni X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, thanks to its mop pads rotating to scrub away tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too and it enhances suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does an excellent job. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that comes with a variety of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can build detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. But while these functions are useful, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury, which might make it slightly more expensive than what some homeowners need.

Designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's accented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving through the house. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The control panel has a circular menu that allows you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons open the settings of the app which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. This helps the robot mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4% debris from our test on hardwood floors and removing all but stubborn juice staining. The mops are also efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, wood, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the floor vacuum robot or quaker oats on the carpet.
