The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It has a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to take on dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, as cheaper models do to map your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and plenty of features such as a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is in place you can begin the automatic cleaning with a single button. You can choose an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or two detailed maps of your space to ensure that your entire home is properly arranged.

This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it to fit into the furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We think this is a nice statement however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers and to clean up your entire house efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on higher-end models. And its mopping system is even better - its spinning pads scrub your floors much better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only downside is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to allow for deeper cleaning, but that's an affordable cost to pay for if you want one of the best robot vacuum robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than its competitors, and filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping device, I was impressed by its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, create very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch television without interruption. It will gently hit furniture or walls and then move on when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something requires attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also combine or create rooms to customize the way that Q Revo handles your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's some clutter that needs to be cleaned out regularly, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can also vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend drying them using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium dyson robot vacuum vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, plus a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor system that recognizes obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best robot vacuum for high pile carpet known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in the height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Lastly it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as a voice assistant that works offline, allowing you to manage it even when away from home. It also has more mopping options and a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead of simply following a predetermined path.

The Omni Omni has the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its mop pads rotating to scrub away tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It has a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to a week. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that comes with a host of features that you do not often find on robots of this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and identify various flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that vacuum and mop that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice, but they also place the L10s in the luxury category. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.

Designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish accented by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the home. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button which serves as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will shut it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for households with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. The mops are also efficient, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile and carpet tests.
