The X2 Omni robot vacuum-mop is the latest model in Ecovacs line of hybrid robot vacuum mops. This model is dry and wet. It comes with the upgraded AIVI 3D2.0 lidar system Ecovacs, which gives enhanced mapping and obstruction-free operation. The system uses dual laser LiDAR, which is similar to that found in self-driving vehicles. It can scan a space up to 32 feet by 360 degrees. This translates to more precise mapping, faster response times, and better cleaning accuracy.

It also comes with a rotating mopping mat made of chenille, which makes it much easier to scrub hard-to-clean spots than conventional mopping. During my testing the X2 Omni took just over a minute to wash its pad before getting to work. I also noticed that it was more precise than previous models that seemed to follow a gridded route around rooms. It was able to navigate my rooms by the corners and edges and also create an "Zambani pattern" up and down the middle of the room. It also returned to its OMNI station on a regular basis to empty the trash bin and clean the mop using hot water prior to starting another task of cleaning.

The X2 Omni is just as easy to use and set up as other Ecovacs products. Place the dock in its place then plug it in and connect it to your WiFi network at home. It takes just a few minutes. 2. Deebot T10 Omni

If you're looking for a strong combination of vacuuming and mopping then check out the EcoVACS Deebot T10 Omni. It is the most advanced of the T-line offered by the brand and features the brand new OZMO Turbo2.0 mopping system, which uses dual-spinning brush for better cleaning than the traditional scrubbing. It has YIKO, a natural language processing technology that is a first of its kind. This allows it to respond to a variety of voice commands. This advanced model collects pet hair, kibble and other particles with top-quality performance and is able to effortlessly maneuver around furniture legs. It also comes with a remarkable feature set that includes two cleaning modes and a self-emptying dock and real-time obstacle avoidance technology. It's Wi-Fi enabled and best controlled via the Neato app where cleaning can be scheduled and overall maintenance needs monitored. The X2 Omni is an excellent option for robot vacuum mops homes with a large a mix of hard carpet and flooring, however it requires some advance planning to avoid getting stuck on electrical cords, toys, or other obstacles that might be unexpected.

The robot performed well during our tests on hardwood floors and food particles. It picked up everything from a single rice grain to multiple pet food pieces in only one swipe. It had some issues with rugs but, generally the vacuum cleaner is ideal for large rooms that have floors of different types and a mix of pets.

It's not cheap however, if you are able to handle the cost it's an excellent buy for those who wish to be able to leave their homes hands-free to go about other tasks or to take care of chores. The A4s Pro has a convenient auto-cleaning feature that increases suction to take on the most difficult spills or dirt. It also comes with a battery powered ElectroWall to set boundaries for the robot.

This budget-friendly robot from a popular new brand is the most affordable we've ever tested, and provides incredible value for the money. Its basic navigation system uses an extremely basic random pathing algorithm that isn't equipped with room mapping capabilities, making it less time efficient than the other models on this list. It's still able to navigate under furniture and into the corners. Mopping mode performed very well in our tests, picking up stray hair and other debris.

5. Shark iQ

Shark's iQ isn't quite as well-built as the Roomba S9, but it is superior in general at getting rid of pet hair on all surfaces. It does a better job of cleaning carpets with low piles as well as bare floors. It also uses smart-pathing navigational software for greater maneuverability. It can be positioned to a specific location, and comes with a range of advanced automation options, including no-go zones and schedules. It can even pause and resume cleaning sessions which is ideal for homes with pets.

The self-cleaning brushroll eliminates tangles and robot vacuum mops can hold up to 30 days of dirt. It also comes with an array of side brushes that are angled to penetrate into corners and its multi-stage filtration system captures dust, dander, and allergens to ensure a healthier air.

The robot vacuum is built well and feels solid. It works with an app on your smartphone that allows you to change the vacuum's settings and schedule cleaning sessions ahead of time. The app also lets you view the remaining battery life and also receive push notifications for any problems it encounters during its cleaning cycle. You can control it with your voice using an Amazon Alexa device or Google Assistant device. If you don't have either of these devices, you can mark areas with physical boundary markers strips.

The iQ can do a decent job of removing bare flooring and doing a good job with shaggy and low-pile carpet, but it doesn't have the same level of autonomy as our top picks. It's also costly and the cost of recurring use can add up.
